PLEASE NOTE – When placing and fulfilling an order through our website it constitutes as an acknowledgment to the below information.
All orders placed before 2pm Mon-Fri are shipped the same day. Orders placed after 2pm on Friday are shipped on Monday.
Weekends, Bank holidays and public holidays are for resting, so any orders placed on these days will be despatched on the next working day.
UK DELIVERY OPTIONS
EVRi 2-4 Day Delivery – delivery cost £3.99 or free for orders over £75.
EVRi 1-2 Day Delivery – delivery cost £4.99 or free for orders over £100.
DPD NEXT DAY – delivery costs £7.99.
Next day delivery is only for the next working day, so if you’ve placed an order on Friday after 2pm or the weekend, then you’ll receive it on the following Tuesday.
EU/ INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
International and EU Delivery – Cost varies depending on location.
We ship all EU and International packages via a trackable service or via Fedex Priority if an express option is selected at the checkout.
The shipping cost will become available once address information has been entered at the checkout.
Please note you may need to pay duty and taxes when items arrive depending on your country/ cost of your order. We do not charge VAT on orders outside of the UK and these fees are government related and out of Mermaids Swimwear control – we will not be held liable for these additional fees.
-We cannot be held responsible for any delays caused by the custom clearance of the destination country.
We try our best to get deliveries out to you on time, but sometimes EU and international deliveries can take longer than expected.
WHERE DO YOU SHIP FROM?
Mermaids Swimwear is UK based with all orders being dispatched from our UK warehouse.
IS THE DELIVERY SERVICE GUARANTEED?
Once a parcel leaves our warehouse, we are highly reliant on the courier to make a safe and efficient delivery.
Unfortunately, unless you choose UK Next Working Day, our delivery times are only estimates and cannot be guaranteed, but we have found them to be accurate in the majority of orders.
If your order has still not arrived on or before the expected delivery date provided in your order confirmation email, then please track your order using the shipping link we have provided.
If tracking has not updated for 5+ days, please get in touch below.
HELP – I HAVEN’T RECEIVED MY ORDER AND TRACKING HASN’T UPDATED?
We are so sorry to hear you have not received your order and tracking has not updated. We will need to initiate an investigation with the courier so the depot can be searched and the driver can be interviewed. Please can you therefore contact us below with your details and a short sentence to explain you have not received your order so we can get started with this.
CAN I MAKE ANY CHANGES TO MY ORDER ONCE PLACED?
Unfortunately once an order has been placed we are unable to make any amendments to orders. This includes combining orders, adding items or coupon codes to existing orders or changing the size or delivery address or method. Please carefully check your billing and shipping information before you place your order as our dispatch team processes orders quickly and we are unable to make changes to orders once they are shipped.
We do not take responsibility for lost, misplaced, or incorrectly delivered shipments if the address information provided is incorrect or incorrectly entered at the time of purchase.
CAN I ORDER TO A PO BOX ADDRESS?
Unfortunately, we do not deliver to PO Boxes or Parcel Locker Addresses.
REFUSED DELIVERY POLICY
Please don’t refuse a delivery. Unfortunately, refused deliveries (including unpaid duty payments or incorrect address information) resulting in your order being returned to sender will incur a cost of the original delivery plus the return cost. Any refund made will be minus the total delivery and return cost in the case of refused deliveries.
WILL I PAY INTERNATIONAL TAXES AND CUSTOM CHARGES?
International customers may be required to pay sales tax, duty and/or Customs charges. All Taxes and customs charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the cost of the order or shipping charge. Taxes and customs charges differ depending on the country and state of the shipping address. We suggest contacting your local customs office if you are unsure of the applicable taxes and customs fees that are relevant to you. Mermaids Swimwear is not responsible for any additional taxes and customs charges that are requested during the shipment of your order.
If you experience any difficulties while entering your shipping address during checkout or while you are creating an account, please email [email protected] with your full shipping address and we will look at finding a suitable shipping solution for your destination country.
If a change of address is made directly with any of our carriers, Mermaids Swimwear will not be held responsible for any lost or misdelivered parcels.
Mermaids Swimwear is not responsible for lost or stolen packages or packages delayed in transit – this is something we will need to take up with the carrier.
The shipping cost for orders is non refundable.
*** Please note that the international shipping costs that Mermaids Swimwear provide do not reflect the cost of return shipping from countries outside of the UK. It is the responsibility of customers to enquire about the cost of return shipping from their country back to our UK warehouse as this fee is in no way covered by Mermaids Swimwear.
